Saturday, 11th Sep was normal customer service day for Ms. Barkha Kanojia at MMT but for me, I was worried as I was approached by the fraudster who was claiming to process my refund from the last lockdown cancellation – and I want to make sure that my unclaimed money is secure and in safe hands. It took me few minutes to talk with Barka and all my queries and anxieties were addressed.
She immediately identified the long-standing issue that the payment was bounced back and is waiting to be claimed. She shared the fresh link to activate the payment which failed again. I was getting a little impatient but she was calm and confident to find a way to get the solution.
After few minutes of root cause analysis, she suggested I submit the bank details and then she can process the fund transfer manually, a bit risky and cumbersome process but she took that extra effort to make sure I get the money back which I would have got at least one year ago.
Two days back, I got a refund of my money. It all went smooth and without any further security lapses.
