Dr. K Nirmala Prasad is a name that immediately draws a lot of respect. A life of undaunted vision and values. The life that exhibited courage and confidence and a person who was far ahead of her time.

What does it take to start an institute for women as a single faculty and that too 45 years back? Strong conviction to break the inner barriers and raise your head high to overcome all the challenges of society in every form.
Even today, the most outgoing and forward-looking people would struggle to equal a vision like that of Dr. K. Nirmala Prasad.
I was thrilled and intrigued by sheer commitment to the real purpose – empowering women! When you empower a girl you actually basking a whole family in a culture of universal goodness.
A lot more can be written about the achievement of Late Dr. K Nirmala Prasad but what is more important is how we can live even a single moment that fulfills those promises of success with futuristic thinking. Taking initiatives and reviving the dormant potential with positive thinking is the single most important task that the current faculty at the institute has already started.
Even after her death, her work is still echoing in all rungs of society. I’m honored to welcome Late Dr. K. Nirmala Prasad to the “Real Life Heroes Club” for her outstanding contribution in the field of women’s education and empowerment.
