Wonderful Example of Customer Centricity by Shaikh Riyaz @ DHL Pune.
Friday, 19th Feb was a normal day for most of us but not for one of my clients, for her, it is a start one new journey of happiness but only if she could get her courier parcel from DHL on time, for which the chances were almost zero.

The clocks were ticking and with each passing moment, she was losing hope. Even, few minutes of delay mean a lot to her and repentance for the rest of the life. Will this time too DHL can demonstrate exceptional customer service and deliver my courier on time? Not sure.

She focused on praying to Lord for the miracle. Meanwhile, we did something else. Through one of my contacts Mr. Shankar Salunke from Vibrant HR I could connect to Mr. Ashish Bheke an HR personnel in DHL, we could connect to Mr. Shaikh Riyajoddin or Shaikh Riyaz, the operation supervisor at the DHL Pune outlet, and explained the seriousness of the situation. It took him no time to understand and empathize with us. Then he told the magic line which most DHL employee says, “Let me see what I can do for you!”

He first arranged to find out the courier parcel and then especially organized an employee of the DHL to accompany us and do literally hand-to-hand delivery.

Throughout the process, he was calm, helpful, and most importantly he could perfectly balance the operational requirements so as not to compromise on the safety process and also demonstrated perfect 5-star customer service.
