Milind Maitre , an architect, self made businessman is on his way to reach his dream of becoming leading Next-Gen architect for office space. Almost anyone who knows him – will describe in one breath as simple person, clear thinker, easy to understand, always smiling and very keen to give best service to his customers.
The best thing dealing with Milind is his approach towards his work – he is not at all in rush to get things, well informed with latest works in his field, never shy away from trying new things and takes all possible scenarios into account and discusses in length to understand customer expectation puts his point across in assertive way.
Customer always gets his undivided attention, his sense of care can be easily felt when he provide all solutions under one head covering all risk of quality and timely completion and of course with smile!
But there is one thing very special that I loved about Milind his philosophy which is based on principle that whenever possible do all your best to fulfill all genuine needs of customer. This simple approach has touched me personally when I was dealing with him for my new office project
He himself was proactively suggesting what’s the best way to design particular cabin and if something goes wrong he never took a back step from admitting his mistake and take steps again and improve it. This immediately builds trust and confidence in his work, not to mention all his employees were equally committed to complete the task on time with high quality.
According to him, in his business there are three important things that can make anyone successful
1. One need to be master of his or her craft should be responsible for the work and taking end-to-end ownership to deliver the product and services on time. This simple act of demonstrating mastery wins market trust and people would be eager to do business with you.
2. Never forget to understand and apply customers point of you in every project, making customer happy is for most important criteria for doing good business but at the same time if requires you also need to coach and educate the client in terms of the best practices and their interest without any ulterior motives.
3. Never ever break the trust and the value that you promise to deliver. Whenever possible, exceed the expectations and work starts to come on your way. Your own customer can now be turned into brand ambassador – promoting you and your work.
I wish Milind Maitre and his team to join the elite group of REAL LIFE HEROES setting fantastic example for other businessman to follow so that they too can deal with customer in the simple non confusing and ethical way.
